HARLEY DAVIDSON REPORTS ENGINE FAILURES OCCUR AS A RESULT OF CAM BEARING FAILURE. HARLEY WILL NOT SUPPLY INFORMATION NECESSARY FOR ME TO DETERMINE IF MY ENGINE IS SUBJECT TO FAILURE. THEREFORE, I AM UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF I SHOULD SPEND THE $806.00 REQUIRED TO REPLACE THE BEARINGS. ENGINE FAILURE ON A MOTORCYCLE CAN BE DEADLY AND IT IS IMPERITIVE THAT HARLEY DAVIDSON PROVIDE A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE REASONS AND CAUSES OF THIS BEARING FAILURE SO THAT I CAN DETERMINE IF I NEED TO MAKE REPAIRS. ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE WILL BE APPRECIATED.*AK
