WHEN REMOVING SEAT, LEFT SIDE ANGLE BRACKET THAT HOLDS SCREW, (1/4-20 THUMB SCREW), FELL TO FLOOR. THIS BRACKET WAS RIVETED TO THE PLASTIC SEAT PAN, IN A TRIANGULAR PATTERN. THE BRACKET, RIVETS, AND PLASTIC, ABOUT THE SIZE / SHAPE OF A NICKEL, FELL OUT IN ONE PIECE. THERE ARE SPIDER CRACKS IN THE SEAT PAN AROUND THE HOLE ON THE LEFT SIDE AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE BRACKET ASSEMBLY AREA ALSO. IF THE SEAT FAILS, CAUSING A SEAT/RIDER SHIFT, AT ANY SPEED, WILL MAKE MOTORCYCLE UNCONTROLLABLE. THIS NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. LOOKING ONLINE FOR A REPLACEMENT, MANY USED SEATS HAVE THIS SAME CRACKING AROUND THE BRACKETS. I AM 6'3", 240LBS. AND VERY SELDOM RIDE TWO UP. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE BROKEN, EVER. *TR

REAR WHEEL BEARINGS WORN BADLY AT ONLY 8,500 MILES CREATING UNSTABLE CONDITION. BEARINGS ARE SEALED AND CAN NOT BE LUBRICATED. THERE IS ALSO NO MENTION OF MAINTENANCE OR INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS IN OWNERS MANUAL/MAINTENANCE INTERVALS. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM SINCE HARLEY DAVIDSON SWITCHED FROM GREASY BEARINGS TO THOSE OF THE SEALED TYPE. *TR

SERVICE BULLETIN M1684: MARKET SPECIFIC BATTERY INTRODUCTION. PURPOSE: Initial Release. This bulletin informs dealers of the availability of new batteries for new Original Equipment (OE) vehicle production and in the Parts and Accessories (P&A) catalog. Availability of the new Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries will vary by market and will be transitioning over the next few months. NOTE: The ring terminal screws are not compatible between Leoch and East Penn batteries. The new batteries will include new ring terminal screws, which must be used. The ring terminal screws from the old battery need to be discarded.

SERVICE BULLETIN M1686: 2025 FAT BOY GRAY GHOST (FLSTFI) PAINT SURFACE CARE. PURPOSE: Initial release. This bulletin informs dealers that the PVD painted vehicle surfaces on the 2025 Fat Boy Gray Ghost (FLSTFI) require special awareness and attention for care and cleaning. The Fat Boy Gray Ghost (FLSTFI) rear fender, fuel tank and front fender are PVD painted surfaces. DO NOT TREAT THESE COMPONENTS AS CHROME. Figure 1 illustrates PVD Painted Surfaces. Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings are thin film coatings where a solid material is vaporized in a vacuum chamber and deposited onto a target material. It is used to change the surface properties of the object to be coated, where new mechanical, chemical, electrical or optical characteristics are needed.
