THE FUEL GAUGE HAS NOT WORKED ALMOST SINCE THE DAY I TOOK IT OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR. IT'S VERY ERRATIC. TELLS ME THERE'S NOTHING LEFT WHEN THE TANK IS HALF FULL. TELLS ME IT'S HALF FULL WHEN IT'S ALMOST EMPTY. TELLS ME IT'S GOT A QUARTER TANK WHEN I KNOW IT'S FULL. I'VE RUN OUT OF GAS TWICE BECAUSE OF THIS FAULTY FUEL GAUGE. IT'LL REGISTER AS EMPTY, THEN I'LL WATCH THE NEEDLE RISE. I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO KNOW WHEN IT IS ACCURATE. *TR

Noise from the cam chest area possibly accompanied by milky engine oil. Moisture can cause slight swelling in the tensioner causing it to stick in the housing. A vehicle that makes repeated short trips can have this condition because the engine does not reach normal operating temperatures, allowing condensation and moisture to build up in the engine oil.
