Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component
Data refreshed
What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2018 Heartland Cyclone, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.
Reports by component
Ranked by how many owner reports name each component category
- Body & structure133.3%
- Other / unspecified133.3%

Percentages are of component mentions. A single complaint can name more than one component, so these do not sum to the total complaint count.

From owner reports, verbatim
I noticed the camper was not pulling straight pulled over a found the spring hangers for leaf springs had broken and others bent and frame was bent. The camper has a correct track system from Lippert co. And now from past problems was discontinued due to failures a video is out on you tube showing the hangers flexing in motion. I have frame damage an new hangers can not be installed by my welder to make repairs due to alignment issues an will not bolt up. Pics included Lippert has sent new hangers an gussets now but frame is bent. If they knew this why have they not ha a recall an now my camper is not repairable what do I do?
