2015 Holiday Rambler Vacationer Problems

Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

Data refreshed

Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2015 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.

on cruise control at 70mph starting uphill as speed decreases transmission will shift to a lower gear as it should. almost immediatly speed control shuts throttle down to idle causing drastic loss of speed. In heavy traffic this is a danger to following traffic as it is as if I am coming to an abrupt stop. FMCo manufacturing says so what, take cotrol of your vehicle manually. This is an option but no where in manual that in writing this will happen. Dealers have no knowledge of this problem. FMCo thinks throttle doing this is great. To my knowledge no other models in production do this throttle down. My thought is this should be in manual for other drivers. This has happened since 2015 but no one finds codes which there isnt according to Ford
