on cruise control at 70mph starting uphill as speed decreases transmission will shift to a lower gear as it should. almost immediatly speed control shuts throttle down to idle causing drastic loss of speed. In heavy traffic this is a danger to following traffic as it is as if I am coming to an abrupt stop. FMCo manufacturing says so what, take cotrol of your vehicle manually. This is an option but no where in manual that in writing this will happen. Dealers have no knowledge of this problem. FMCo thinks throttle doing this is great. To my knowledge no other models in production do this throttle down. My thought is this should be in manual for other drivers. This has happened since 2015 but no one finds codes which there isnt according to Ford

APPROX 12 INCH BY 2 INCH GAP BETWEEN FIREWALL AND LEFT SIDE OF DOGHOUSE. CREATES ACCESS TO INTERIOR OF COACH FOR EXHAUST FUMES AS WELL AS INSECTS AND RODENTS. THIS PROBLEM BROUGHT TO ATTENTION OF MOTORHOME SPECIALISTS / REV RV GROUP APRIL OF 2017. RECEIVED A PROMISE TO ACCOMMODATE US AT A LATER DATE TO FABRICATE REPAIRS. ATTEMPTS TO SCHEDULE THIS WORK HAS BEEN MET WITH REFUSAL BY REV, CITING TOO MUCH TIME HAD PASSED. THIS MH LEFT THE FACTORY IN THIS CONDITION. HOW MANY OTHERS MIGHT HAVE LEFT WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AS WELL? THE SAME DEFECT THAT EXISTED ON DAY ONE EXISTS TODAY. A STATEMENT IN REV'S FILE REGARDING OUR COACH'S ISSUE WAS READ TO ME BY A REV EMPLOYEE. IT SAID THE REPAIRS WOULD BE MADE "AT THE CONVENIENCE" OF THE CUSTOMER. AT NO CHARGE I MIGHT ADD. YET NOW A REFUSAL OF THAT PROMISE IS ALL WE GET. *TT *JS

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
