TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HOLIDAY RAMBLER VACATIONER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE ABS WARNING INDICATOR SUDDENLY ILLUMINATED AND A BURNING ODOR WAS NOTICED. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CALLED SIERRA RV SUPER CENTER AT 775-324-0522 AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CARSON TRUCK & AUTO REPAIR (775-883-7770) WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ABS SENSOR FAILED AND THE BRAKING SYSTEM FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WAS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH UPTIME PARTS (1-866-623-0770), THE PARENT COMPANY FOR WORKHORSE, AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V110000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE SINCE THE VIN WAS EXCLUDED FROM THE RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000.
