Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

The contact owns a 2016 Honda Accord. The contact stated that after the battery was replaced, the headlight and low brake fluid warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
Passenger side Daytime running lights are not working. Drivers side Daytime running lights only half are working.
The daytime running light went out on the drivers side.
Both low beam headlights burn out at the "same time". This has happened twice in 1 year. I have not had any inspections done yet. If this happens at night or in a tunnel it could be life threatening. Purchased used from a friend who has taken care of the vehicle. I have not checked with him to see if he ever had it happen due to he is no longer living here. First time I just replaced both bulbs and they worked fine. Now about 8 months later same problem. No moisture visible. High beams work but only when switch is in automatic mode. I will replace again, nothing else I can do at the moment.
Driver's side front LED lights went out. I do not see any reason for this, it just stopped working. I am worried this may be a safety issue as these LED lights are now permanently off.
34,000 MILES LED DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WENT OUT, STOPPED WORKING
Driver side Day Running Light doesn’t work. A lot of owners have this problem. Not safe at all. Honda should recall that to fix that problem.
LED DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS AT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HEADLIGHT HAVE GONE OUT. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AS MANY OTHER CARS THE DRLS TURN OFF BEFORE THE TURN SIGNAL IS INDICATED. CAN GIVE OTHER DRIVERS FALSE INDICATION OF TURNING POSSIBLY.
FRONT, DRIVER SIDE LED STRIP RUNNING LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING RIGHT AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRED.
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS LED STRIP NOT WORKING OR IT APPEARS TO BLOW OUT
DAYTIME LED RUN LIGHT ON DRIVER SIDE NO LONGER WORKS AFTER 3 YEARS OWNING CAR. QUOTED PRICE TO REPAIR IS OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS.
FRONT RIGHT DRL, PART OF THE RUNNING LIGHT BURNED OUT, TO REPLACE THE RUNNING LIGHT YOU MUST REPLACE THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY WHICH CAN BE UP TO $1500 OR MORE. MOST PEOPLE THAT PURCHASE A HONDA ACCORD CANNOT AFFORD TO REPAIR SOMETHING THAT BURNS OUT JUST LIKE ANY OTHER LIGHT FOR $1500. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, HONDA MOTOR CO. NEEDS TO RECALL AND REPAIR THIS MISTAKE FOR FREE. THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY.
LEFT SIDE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT BURNED OUT HAVE WAY.
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS LED BOTH PARTIALLY BURNT AND ONLY HALF OF THE LED LIGHT COME ON. THIS HAPPEN THIS WEEKEND 7/24/2020 AND 7/25/2020. PER SERVICE BULLETIN 19-042 DATED 4/16/2019 FROM HONDA ON NHTSA WEBSITE, THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH 2016 HONDA ACCORDS. HOWEVER THE RECALL DOES NOT APPLY MY 2016 MODEL PER VIN. I NEED HELP AS DEALER CANNOT ASSIST. THERE'S LOTS OF INFORMATION ONLINE ABOUT THIS RECALL. TOTALLY REFLECTS THE SITUATION WE ARE HAVING AND AGAIN EVEN THE SAME YEAR AND MODEL AS MY VEHICLE BUT WHY ARE SOME CARS EXCLUDED? IT JUST DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT. THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE REPAIR. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT IS OUT.
THE LED STRIP OF LIGHT AROUND MY HEADLIGHT ON DRIVERS SIDE IS PARTIALLY BLOWN. THAT IS ALWAYS A DISTRACTION TO ONCOMING CARS
THE RUNNING LIGHT ON MY 2016 HAS BURNED OUT AND THIS IS A COVERED BENEFIT ON OTHER HONDA ACCORDS WITH THE SAME YEAR HOWEVER ISNY FOR MY VEHICLE . DAYTIME LED RUNNING LIGHT NOT WORKING. A RECALL NOTICE WAS SENT IN EARLY 2019 BUT IT CAN'T BE FOUND.
THE DRIVING LIGHTS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE HAVE BURNED OUT
DRIVERS SIDE FROM DAYTIME LED LIGHTS BURNT OUT. ONLY HAVE 45,000+ MILES.
LED ON THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT STRIP ON THE HEADLIGHT IS PRONE TO BURNING OUT. HAD TO RECENTLY REPLACE PASSENGER SIDE DUE TO BURN OUT CAUSED BY POOR CHIP DESIGN. WITHOUT DAYTIME LIGHT THE CAR IS MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO DRIVERS NOT PAYING ATTENTION.
ONE BOTTOM (MAIN) SECTION OF THE PASSENGER-SIDE DAY-TIME RUNNING LED STRIP BURNED OUT. NOW ONLY THE SIDE PORTION REMAINS ON. BOTH LED STRIPS NEED TO BE ON IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SAFETY (BETTER VISIBLE TO OTHER CARS ON THE ROAD) FOR MY BLACK CAR DURING THE DAYTIME. SINCE LED LIGHTS DO NOT BURN HOT, THEY SHOULD NOT BURN OUT AFTER 3 YEARS. BOTH LED LIGHTS WORK OK (SO FAR) ON THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
