The contact owned a 2004 Honda Odyssey equipped with Michelin CrossClimate 2 Tires, Tire Size 255/60R112VXL, DOT Number: Not Available. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at an unknown speed and turning a corner, the front driver's side tire suddenly blew out, causing the vehicle to roll a few times, then flip, crashing into a tree where it came to a stop. The air bags did deploy. The driver sustained a fracture to the neck, and he was declared deceased on the scene. The vehicle was towed and totaled. A police report was filed. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

On 6-14-2022, I installed a full set of these tires - from Costco, Florence, KY ( all four tiers have been installed in Costco ), to prepare to travel with my family from Kentucky to Louisiana. Early morning on 6-22-2022, while driving on the highway with my family, suddenly we lost control of the vehicle, and it started to swing. fortunately, the vehicle stopped on the left shoulder without hitting anything. when we looked outside the vehicle, we found everything is good except the flat tire on the front driver's side. 911 and AAA have been called.

ONE BLEW OUT THE SIDE WALL AND ANOTHER DEVELOPED A HOLE IN THE SIDEWALL AND HAD BULDGES ALL ALONG THE OUTER WALL. THE OTHER TWO HAVE POOR WEAR. THE TIRES ARE A BUNCH OF JUNK. 14 MONTHS OLD SIGMA REGENT TIRE (PURCHASED NOV '06). STRANGE VIBRATION SINCE THE DAY THEY WERE PURCHASED. NTB CHECKED TIRES AND BALANCE - NO PROBLEM. THERE IS A BUBBLE WITH SMALL SLITS NEAR THE RIM.
