The part that malfunctioner is the auto start from stop. I was at the Park and XXX light In [XXX] . My car would not start after I got to the stoplight. The auto start did not work. Important to share, this happens at least two or three times a day in my vehicle. Many times when I come My vehicle will not start on its own. My Fuel pump recall was fixed on 06/17/2021 at 40543 Miles. On 12/8/22 at 56361 miles, my vehicle wouldn’t start and I got the battery replaced with the assumption that it was the battery. On 4/30/25 at 102,298 miles, I got my spark plugs replaced in hopes to resolve excessive cranking/ hard start issues I’ve been having since the recall. To my fault, I should’ve made a bigger complaint on the hard start issues but didn’t think anything of it thinking it’s normal. On 12/30/2025, at 119,186 miles, I went in for a routine maintenance oil change, but replaced my battery based on recommendation also on hopes to resolve excessive cranking issues I’ve been having. On 1/3/2026, my vehicle wouldn’t start when I went out of town. Main reason I took it into service the week before was to make sure I don’t have any issues when I’m out at a foreign place and it did at a sketchy gas station putting my family in danger. On 1/7/2026, my vehicle wouldn’t start again. I took it in to Atlantic Coast Honda on 1/9/26 and they were able to replicate the issue but was told that they couldn’t do anything else. I complained to them that I didn’t feel comfortable driving my family around and also driving to far places for work but was told my vehicle has tested better since it was replicated when I brought it in. On 2/20/26, my vehicle wouldn’t start again. I brought it in on 2/21/26 for them to look at it again. I get a notice on 2/23/26 on the service recommended, and it’s to replace the fuel pump for $1398.71. I told them that I refuse to pay that amount when it was replaced based on a recall, and the part replaced is not even over 100,000 miles. Also the fact that I’ve had issues on starting the vehicle for a while and I’ve committed to replacing the battery twice, changing out the spark plugs in hopes to resolve my vehicle issues. This situation has put me in a bind putting me, my family, and other drivers in danger when I drive a vehicle that might stop working any time.
My car has been stalling and not starting back up once turned off. It does it every almost every instance at startup. I can no longer use the auto start/stop feature on my car due to it stalling a few times in the middle of the road. I had to turn the car off and attempt to turn it back on. There is a recall on the fuel pump and fuel injectors but every dealership I have called stated that there are no available fixes while online they state there are available repairs.

May 5, 2025, I took the Honda 2019 Passport to Bend Honda, Bend Oregon for three items. First an oil change. There were two recalls, MOST and the fuel pump. Neither American Honda nor Bend Honda sent any letter stating part were available. The workmanship appears as though a "PIG" worked inside the car. Mud, dirt, bits of leaves, etc. were found. There are some scrapes on the driver side panel from someone's foot. The windows were down when I received the car. It must of be left outside the dealership overnight because of a gasoline leak. On the way home I had to drive with the windows part way down because of the fumes. The Passport is inside my garage and several times I've opened the doors to vent out the gasoline fumes. The fuel pump is either installed incorrectly or the interior had a large spill of gasoline while removing the fuel pump. Could be the wrong pump? The fumes should not be this terrible.
[XXX] Start/Stop system failed when stopped in Starbucks drive thru. Unable to restart, or move vehicle. Honda Passport had to be towed. Problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer. Honda dealership deep charged battery and battery tested good? I was charged a Diagnostic fee for Starting & Charging Systems & Battery. Test name was GR8 diagnostic test by Honda. Vehicle was inspected by local Honda dealer. Diagnosed parasitic drain on battery? A new battery had been purchased 9/16/2024 @ a Honda dealership in Va. New battery is just 6 months old. Never had a problem with the new battery or Start/Stop system until [XXX] when failure occurred. There was never a warning lamp, message, or other symptoms prior to the failure. Dealers have stalled the repair of this manufacturer defect. I have made multiple requests to repair this vehicle, two dealers state that they do not have the repair parts. This has gone on for over a year. I have reported that the vehicle has stalled, they said it was a software issue.

My 2019 Honda Passport with VIN# ending with**********2184. A safety recall of a faulty fuel pump was dangerous to drive. The faulty pump recalled from Honda NHTSA warned drivers that are at risk of crashes and accidents. The increased risk of property damage as well. I was exhausted trying to get a loaner car from my Dealership that I have all of my routine maintenance is performed. The fuel pump failure from December 2023 as of today still unavailable. On 6/15/2024 I loss control of my 2019 Honda passport. The rapid acceleration and rapidly stalling the vehicle etc loss of power and control. I hit a Tractor Trailer hitch destroying my vehicle completely. My injuries are still extremely problematic mental and physically. I was arrested for DUI which put the blame of me being Intoxicated or Driving on drugs. I was not taken to a Hospital but to jail. I requested to seek treatment in the Jail Clinic.I was released without a bond. The cops wanted my consent for blood to determine my alleged DUI. August 7th 2024 I received a letter stating that my blood was negative and rescinded of suspension allowing me to drive. I can’t drive with Seatbelt sign injuries neck, spine trauma to degenerative spine exacerbation. No car no job unable to be my elderly mothers care taker. My mental health has become significantly worse ever in my entire life. A faulty fuel pump and a false DUI arrest are daunting on a daily basis. I have also contemplated suicide. I am financially crippled. So I don’t understand if I was cleared as the cause of the accident. I was already warned about and Honda knew that without a DUI case. Hondas Safety recall of the faulty fuel pump. The indicators were a red flag but my Honda dealership just told me to just pray everything I have to drive my vehicle dates 2/22 2024 —-3/14/24 4/24 and other miscellaneous dates every time frustrating. The inspection of the faulty fuel pump was explained on the recall. After the collision nothing left to check.

I called two dealerships to get my recall repaired, Mile High Honda and Planet Honda, and neither of these certified Honda dealers can help me fix my recall. I am worried about my safety as I drive this vehicle. Honda is currently out of fuel pumps to fix this situation, leading to uncertainty and fear while operating my vehicle.
