2009 Hyundai Sonata Interior & seats Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the interior system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Interior & seats reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

AIRBAG LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO TWO DEALERSHIPS AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THE OCS IS DEFECTIVE. I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR 10 YEARS AND NO ONE EVER SITS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. I DO PUT GROCERIES ON THE SEAT AT TIMES. I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM IS THE SAME AS THE TSB CAMPAIGN THAT WAS PUT OUT FOR 2006 -2008 SONATA. THE CAMPAIGN NUMBER IS 083. HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF MY 2009 SONATA WAS MANUFACTURED IN 2008? WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED FROM THE FIRST DEALER THE SEATBELT LIGHT WAS FLASHING.
