THE VEHICLE HAD CHRONIC ABS PROBLEMS. *NM RECALL CAMPAIGN: THERE WERE NO PARTS AVAILABLE FOR RECALL 03502 AND 04507. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT PASS INSPECTION. THE CONSUMER STATED THAT NEW YORK STATE DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION INSPECTIONS GRADE BUS COMPANIES AS TO HOW MANY VEHICLES PASS AND FAIL INSPECTIONS. THE VEHICLES WITH CHRONIC PROBLEMS WITH THE ABS SYSTEMS HAVE LOWERED THE DOT SCORE AND HAVE PREVENTED THEM FROM BIDDING ON CERTAIN CONTRACTS. THE VEHICLE IS AN INTERNATIONAL TOUR BUS. *TC *JB

2000-01 IC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL BUS FRONT BRAKE CAUGHT ON FIRE DUE TO RECALL ON CALIPERS FRON INTERNATIONA TRUCK AND ENGINE CORPORATION. RECALL NUMBER 03502. THERE HAS BEEN NO REMEDY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. RECALLS WERE SENT OUT OCTOBER 2003. OTHER INCIDENTS INVOLVE PREMATURE WEAR ON PADS AND ROTORS ON FRONT OF BUSES.
