Data refreshed
Our database holds 2 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2022 International Lt. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Steering intermittently goes into a shake/ shimmy at various speeds, frequently on curves. Steering wheel will shake and occasionally it gets intense enough for items in the cab of the truck to shake violently. Symptoms match NHTSA document IK0500038. 2 dealerships have been innefectual in addressing the issues. The problem started around 42,000 miles and persists currently at 71,000 miles. The truck has been back multiple times for this issue and is now up to 6 weeks of down time with no improvement. None of the International dealers have voluntarily given me any documentation to keep for my records.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
