FUEL LEAKS
AFTER OPENING THIS INVESTIGATION TO GATHER MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ALLEGED FUEL LEAKS FROM THE FUEL LINE QUICK CONNECTOR ON RST 1000 FUTURA MODEL MOTORCYCLES,ODI MET WITH COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES.DURING THE MEETING IT WAS AGREED THAT APRILIA WOULD CONDUCT A SAFETY RECALL TO ADDRESS THE LEAKING FUEL LINE CONNECTORS.ADDITIONALLY, THEY REVEALED THEIR DISCOVERY OF AN IDENTICAL ISSUE (REQUIRING A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT REMEDY PART) INVOLVING THE MODEL YEAR 2002- 2004 ETV 1000 CAPONORD MODEL MOTORCYCLES. AFTER FURTHER DISCUSSION, THE RECALL ON THE FUTURA MODEL WAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE THE CAPONORD.WITH APRILIA'S RECALL OF THESE MODELS, THIS INVESTIGATION IS CLOSED.
