WE BOUGHT A BRAND NEW JAYCO OCTANE SUPER LITE 273 IN MAY 2016.WE PARKED IT IN OUR DRIVEWAY,AND DECIDED TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN IT BECAUSE THE KIDS WERE EXCITED TO USE IT.ABOUT 7 HRS AFTER SETTING IT UP,THE SAME DAY WE BROUGHT IT HOME,THE FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONER QUIT WORKING(WE WERE TOLD,AFTER GETTING IT FIXED,THAT A HOSE WASN'T ON CORRECTLY, CAUSING IT TO TRIP A RESET BUTTON).AFTER THAT,WE NOTICED A LOT MORE WAS WRONG WITH THIS TRAILER.THE BED FRAME WAS MADE VERY WRONG,A WATER PUMP HOSE WASN'T ON ALL THE WAY,THE POWER BED SAFETY LOCK WASN'T ENGAGED,THE CAULKING AROUND THE OUTSIDE SPEAKERS WASN'T APPLIED RIGHT,AND THE SINK LEAKED.WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE WE BOUGHT IT AND THEY FIXED THE ISSUES.MAYBE A MONTH LATER,WE NOTICED MORE WAS WRONG.THE SHOWER NOW LEAKED,THE USB PORTS QUIT WORKING,AND THERE WERE BUBBLES BULGING OUT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRAILER.ALSO WE NOTICED A PART ON THE ROOF HAD CAME UP.AFTER TAKING IT BACK AGAIN,WE WERE TOLD THAT THE METAL SIDING WASN'T INSTALLED CORRECTLY,AND IT WOULD HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY REPLACED.ALSO THE PART ON THE ROOF HAD CAME UP BECAUSE THE SCREWS THAT HELD IT DOWN,WERE TIGHTENED WAY TO TIGHT CAUSING THE HEADS TO POP OFF.I'M THANKFUL WE WEREN'T TAKING IT ON OUR TRIP WHEN THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE IT MIGHT HAVE CAUSED PARTS OF THE ROOF TO FLY OFF.WE TRIED TALKING TO JAYCO ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE TRAILER,BUT THEY DIDN'T THINK WE HAD REASON FOR CONCERN.WE TALKED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE VERY LITTLE DEALINGS WITH US NOW,OTHER THAN FIXING THE ISSUES THROUGH THE WARRANTY.(ALL ISSUES HAPPENED WHILE BEING PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY)I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.WE ARE CONCERNED THAT THIS TRAILER ISN'T MADE CORRECTLY AND MAY BE UNSAFE TO TAKE ON THE ROAD.WE DON'T KNOW WHAT OTHER PROBLEMS ARE GOING TO SURFACE IF WE CONTINUE USE IT.WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MAKE SURE THIS TRAILER IS SAFE FOR OUR FAMILY TO TAKE ON VACATIONS?PLEASE HELP.

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL
JAYCO AND ENTEGRA COACH STORAGE TIPS. INSTRUCTIONS FOR STORING JAYCO AND ENTEGRA COACH DIESEL PUSHERS.
EQUIPMENT
Informational bulletin for repair that requires the removal of pullout cabinet extension drawers.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
