The contact owns a 2020 Jayco Travel Trailer White Hawk. The contact stated that while hauling the trailer, the rear end started wobbling and became unstable. There was an abnormal creaking sound coming from the RV while reversing. The vehicle was taken to the local service center, and it was determined that the rear spring holder had separated from the frame causing the rear axle to wobble. The contact stated that the RV was previously rewelded because of the cracks in the front passenger’s side axle. The contact was informed that the failure was caused by improper welding during the manufacturing process. The contact stated that the failure had recently occurred on the front driver’s side axle. The RV was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
