2017 Jayco Greyhawk Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

GOT RECALL FINAL REMEDY NOTICE FROM JAYCO ON SER#8H1ME0161. HOWEVER, CAMPING WORLD HAS SAID THE PARTS TO FIX THIS HAZARD ARE ON "BACK ORDER" FOR AT LEAST 12 OR MORE WEEKS SO THEY CAN'T SCHEDULE REPAIR APPOINTMENTS. WE WILL NEED TO OPERATE THIS VEHICLE SOON AND THIS DELAY CAUSES RISK THAT WE CANNOT AVOID! THUS JAYCO'S "FINAL REMEDY" IS FALSE REMEDY, THEY HAVE NOT ACTUALLY FIXED THIS POSSIBLE HAZARD.

WHILE DRIVING TO A CASINO PARKING LOT I HEARD SOMETHING SCRAPING UNDER THE VEHICLE. I PULLED OVER AND LOOKED UNDER THE COACH WHERE I DISCOVERED THAT THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM HAD DROPPED ON THE GROUND (SEE PHOTO). AN ACCIDENT COULD HAVE OCCURRED IF THIS HAD HAPPENED AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.*DT*JB
