2009 Kawasaki KLE650 Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE MIRRORS ON THIS MOTORCYCLE MOVE BY THEMSELVES WHILE DRIVING. THE ACTUAL MIRROR PART ITSELF MOVES, NOT THE METAL STALK HOLDING THE MIRROR. THIS REQUIRES CONSTANT ADJUSTMENT WHILE RIDING, IE: EVERY 15 MINUTES OR SO. I THINK THAT THE WIND MOVES THEM, AND THERE IS NO WAY TO TIGHTEN ONLY THE MIRROR PART. I DID NOT RETURN THE BIKE TO THE DEALER, AS I MOVED TO ASIA FOR OVER ONE YEAR SHORTLY AFTER BUYING THE BIKE. THEN IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. *TR
