MOTORCYCLE RANDOMLY SWERVES TOWARDS LEFT, UNDER INTERSTATE DRIVING CONDITIONS (55 - 65 MPH), ON DAYS WITH NO SIDE WIND OR CROSS WIND. I CALLED AND CHECKED KNOWN DEFECTS WITH MANUFACTURER & DEALER - NONE REPORTED. DEALER (SUNRISE CYCLE NORFOLK VA) CHECKED BIKE - FOUND REAR AXLE MISALIGNED. DEALER CORRECTED ALIGNMENT - BIKE STILL HAS ISSUE. DEALER STATES I CAN TRADE MOTORCYCLE (STILL NEW) FOR A $4,200.00 LOSS, OR PLACE ON CONSIGNMENT FOR A SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLAR LOSS. MANUFACTURER AREA REPRESENTATIVE (KAWASAKI) WILL NOT RETURN CALL. AS OF RIGHT NOW I AM LIMITED TO RIDING MOTORCYCLE (PRIMARY WORK TRANSPORTATION) ON SIDEROADS TO WORK, UNDER 45 MPH. NO ONE (DEALER OR MANUFACTURER) CARES ABOUT MY SAFETY - THEY JUST CARE ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM DOLLAR. *TR

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES; SEATS
Service Bulletin MC20-07 - Kawasaki has created an inspection procedure to address any owner related questions about the proper way to install the seat on their ZG1400. All 2008 through 2020 models are eligible for inspection if the owner experiences a seat that will not latch properly.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
