Our database holds 2 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2018 Keystone Hideout. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

The propane gas auto change over valve on my Keystone Hideout camper is not working properly. Keystone says that my camper is not covered under recall 21V427. The date code on the gas valve is N 17 49. There is a Jayco recall for the same thing, recall 21V425. The 425 recall says that the N 17 XX regulator is part of the recall. Why is my regulator not recalled ? I am the second owner, but I verified with the original owner that the gas valve has never been replaced. Does Keystone need to expand their recall date range?
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
