What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2004 Knapheide Nissan 1800HD, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

THE CAR JERKS WHEN ACCELERATING, GOING FROM REVERSE TO PROCEED FORWARD, WHEN GOING UPHILL AND FROM STOP TO GO. IT IS BECOMING WORSE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD MANY THINGS FROM DIFFERENT MECHANICS. AFTER VIEWING THE MANY COMPLAINTS I AM NOT AWARE THIS IS A CONCERN FOR NISSAN TO FOLLOW UP ON. I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO TRADE IN THE VEHICLE BUT BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD A DOWN PAYMENT NISSAN WILL NOT DO SO. HOWEVER I NOW MAY BE LOOKING AT BEING STUCK ON THE ROAD, WASTING MONEY ON A LOST CAUSE OR HURT IF ANYTHING HAPPENS AND IF IT CAN BE PREVENTED, THAT IS WHAT NISSAN'S CONCERN SHOULD BE. I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP NOT ONLY MY DAUGHTER SAFE BUT OTHERS ON THE ROAD AS WELL. *TR
