The contact owns a 2025 KTM 390 Enduro Four-Stroke. The contact stated that while riding at an undisclosed speed, the throttle was engaged; however, the motorcycle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the engine had seized. No warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while riding on a dirt road. The contact stated that the motorcycle struck the ground. The contact sustained an injury to the right leg. The contact stated that there was a scar from the ankle to the knee. In addition, the contact stated that the area became infected and was treated at the local medical center. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70.
