FUEL TANKS WARP AROUND FUEL FILLER NECK AND CAUSE FUEL TO LEAK OVER HOT ENGINE. HAD RECALL DONE AT DEALER TO REPLACE FUEL-FILLER NECK GASKET UNDER RECALL, WHICH WORSENED LEAK. KTM THEN PROVIDED A WHOLE REPLACEMENT FUEL TANK, WHICH CONTINUES TO LEAK. BIKE HAS BEEN SITTING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW - KTM HAS NOT RELEASED A PROPER SOLUTION TO FIX THIS ISSUE THAT MOST 2016+ KTM 690 DUKE OWNERS HAVE BEEN CONSTANTLY DEALING WITH.

The contact owns a 2017 KTM 690 Duke Orange Motorcycle. The contact stated that while the motorcycle was parked there was an abnormal odor of fuel detected. The contact noticed fuel leaking. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 4,161.
