2022 Kzrv Durango Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

I have a 2022 KZ Durango 321RKT. The frame has been flexing up in the front by the bedroom slide out. There is now a crack in the bedroom wall, which expands from when it’s on the truck to when it’s on the landing gear on the ground. It also is causing the outside of the RV to buckle in the same place. KZand Lippert both said that there’s nothing that they can do. There’s no frame flex in my camper and that they fixed it before my camper was built and they also said that it’s three years old. It’s out of warranty. Warranty and frame should not be in the same sentence together that is the main component of the camper. There is also another issue with the frame on these campers where the leaf spring hangers are breaking off from the frames because they are not braced properly. I have included both pictures of the frame flex crack, and the suspension hanger breaking.
