2008 Kzrv Inferno Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Our database holds 3 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2008 Kzrv Inferno. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 KZRV INFERNO TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE HAD TO USE THE TRUCKS' BRAKES TO STOP THE VEHICLE SINCE THE TRAILER BRAKES HAVE REDUCED BRAKING CAPABILITY. INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES INCREASED THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE TECHNICIAN RE-ADJUSTED THE BRAKES; HOWEVER, THE REPAIR DID NOT REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE TECHNICIAN HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO DEVELOP A REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE NOT APPLICABLE.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 KZRV INFERNO. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V307000 (SUSPENSION). HE CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY STATED THAT THEY WOULD GET BACK TO HIM WHEN THEY HAD AVAILABILITY. AFTERWARDS, THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE SUSPENSION HANGER SEPARATED FROM THE FRAME WHILE HE WAS BACKING INTO A PARKING GARAGE. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE TRAILER TO DROP FROM THE FRAME TO THE AXLE. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER AGAIN, BUT THE LINE WAS BUSY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
