My car shifts into neutral while I’m driving. This is the same issue that I see recalls for but it’s stating that my car is not effected. Also, the rear suspension makes a loud grinding noise for no reason. It’s weird because other 2014 Land Rovers have these exact same recall warnings and my vin number comes up clear on the internet. This vehicle only has 45k miles on it.

Gas leak in the fuel system. Obvious gas smell when car is turned on. Because of the impending danger i have taken the vehicle to á local independent service center for evaluation. They are in the process of confirming the problem. I could not chance driving too far to the dealer because of the hazzard and risk. There were no warning lights indicating the problem.

Our 2014 Land Rover Evoque has a gear knob (gear shifter) located on the console. The gear knob changes by itself from drive, to neutral, to park. Dangerous! We identified this as part of a safety recall and took it to the dealer for repair. They updated the software and sent us on our way. After the same issue occurring several times, we took it back to the dealer at which time the stated we need a new transmission for over $17,000!!! The vehicle last showed only 35,000 miles! We have begged and pleaded our case with the dealer and repeatedly with Land Rover USA with no satisfactory resolution.

I have researched my 2014 Range Rover Evoque and have come upon 2 recalls. First one is recal no. 16V614000. This is where the vehicle unexpectedly shifts to neutral as I am driving. I had a few instances with this as I was driving and car shifting to neutral and gearbox gets stuck...resulting in getting stuck in the middle of the road. The second recall is recall no. 14V155000 regarding the suspension. The damaged bolts may fail, allowing the link arm to separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash. I have already contacted Land Rover customer service and they told me my VIN number is not covered under the recall even though it is clearly affected by the recalls. The car is not safe to drive. I am hoping you could add my vehicle to the recall list to get this repaired as soon as possible.

The front door will not open on the driver's side from the outside. It will only open from the inside due to the door handle.

CAR PARKED, RUNNING, DOOR OPEN TO CHECK MAILBOX. 15 FEET AWAY, CAR STARTED TO ROLL BACK, WENT TO STOP WITH RT LEG REACHING BRAKE. COULDN'T REACH BRAKE, PUSHED ON OPEN DOOR, CAR DID NOT STOP. I FELL BACKWARDS AS LEFT LEG HOPPED AND COULD NOT KEEP UP. ON GROUND TRIED TO BRACE CAR WITH LEFT LEG, RIGHT AND LEFT LEGS WENT OVER HEAD UNDER OPEN DOOR AS CAR CONTINUED TO ROLL IN GEAR BACKWARDS. CAR WAS NOT ON INCLINE. WENT AFTER CAR AND HAMSTRINGS AND CALVES SNAPPED AND FACE PLANTED. ATTEMPTED TO RUN AFTER CAR AGAIN WITH SAME RESULT. SEVERE MUSCLE INJURY TO BOTH LEGS. NOW HIP IS DISLOCATING, MRI PENDING. CAR ROLLED ACROSS STREET AND WAS TRAPPED INTO TREES.
