THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I AM USING MY CRUISE CONTROL AND STEP ON THE BRAKE TO DISENGAGE IT THAT THE CAR ACTUALLY SPEEDS UP. I HAVE TO STEP ON THE BRAKE SEVERAL TIMES TO GET IT TO DISENGAGE. IT IS QUITE SCARY. *TR
WHILE TRAVELING 50MPH ON HIGHWAY VEHICLE STARTED TO ACELLERATE. ALSO, LEFT FRONT CALIPERS LOCKED UP. DEALERSHIP IS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
VEHICLE ACCELERATES OUT OF CONTROL, DRIVER THREW IT OUT OF GEAR INTO NEUTRAL OR PARK, IT AGAIN WENT BACK TO IDLE ON ITS OWN.
WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED AND GOING UP A HILL, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND SPEED, CAUSE UNKNOWN. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
WHEN PRESSING THE BRAKE TO RELEASE CRUISE CONTROL MODE, THE CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT RELEASE, CAUSING CONSUMER TO SHUT SYSTEM DOWN MANUALLY. AFTER HAVING RECALL#97V025000 DONE ON SPEED CONTROL. *AK
RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE (#97V025000). CALLED DEALER WHO TOOK NAME & PHONE NO. FOR APPOINTMENT. DEALER DIDN'T CALL BACK; CALLED BACK AFTER FEW DAYS & INFORMED DID NOT HAVE KITS & IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT THAT THEY DIDN'T, WAS MANUFACTURER. *AK
RECALL REPAIR NOT PERFOMED ON SPEED CONTROL BECAUSE REPAIR NOT NECESSARY IN CALIFORNIA.
CONSUMER WAS APPLYING FORCE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED, CAUSING THE CONSUMER TO HAVE A NEAR ACCIDENT. *AK
WHILE CAR WAS IN REVERSE WITH FOOT ON BRAKE CAR ACCELERATED BACK FOR NO REASON. SHIFT TO DRIVE HAD TO PUT IN NEUTAL TO SLOW VEHICLE DOWN. PLEASE DESCRIBE. TT
