TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ C350. THE CONTACT NOTICED FUEL LEAKING FROM THE VEHICLE AND SMELLED FUEL THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL TANK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES C350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER STARTING OR TURNING OFF THE VEHICLE, GASOLINE FUEL FUMES EMITTED INTO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON IN MY CAR BECAUSE OF A CAMSHAFT SOLENOID PROBLEM. HAD SOLENOIDS ALL REPLACED AND NOW DEALER IS ASKING FOR $2300 TO $3000 FOR PROBLEM TO BE FIXED AFTER ALL NEW PARTS HAVE BEEN PUT IN.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ C350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SERVICE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT RANDOMLY FLASHED. AS THE FAILURE PROGRESSED, THE WARNING LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER MORE THAN FIVE TIMES AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO REMEDY THE FAILURE AFTER SEVERAL REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE SERVICE ENGINE WARNING LAMP WAS STILL ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,407.
