2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

A FEW WEEKS AFTER I BOUGHT MY VEHICLE THE BRAKES STARTED SQUEAKING. I MENTIONED THIS TO ONE OF THE SERVICE PEOPLE AND SHE SUGGESTED IT MIGHT BE A SMALL STONE. IT CONTINUED TO SQUEAK AND THEN IT STARTED SCREECHING. PEOPLE IN THE PARKING LOT AND AT HOME ASKED ME IF I WAS REALLY DRIVING A MERCEDES-BENZ. THE BRAKES WERE CHANGED EVENTUALLY AND THE SERVICE GENTLEMAN SAID IT WOULDN'T HELP AS IT WOULD START AGAIN. TRUE TO HIS WORD. THEY ARE SCREECHING AGAIN. IT'S EMBARRASSING TO SAY THE LEAST AND IT DEFINITIVELY HURTS OUR EARS. I HAVE HAD 4 MB'S AND I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM. SHAME ON YOU!
