The following pictures will again show the issues that I'm having while driving my 2022 S Class Mercedes, while using the cruise control on the Belt Parkway. It shows me stuck in traffic and, although I can only go 11 miles an hour while I’m stuck in traffic, the cruise control wants to push it to 80 mph, which is indeed VERY VERY DANGEROUS!! as you can well imagine. Also, as you can see in the second picture, I have the cruise control set to 39 MPH. I have been writing for the past two months with no resolve as yet. The repair records speak for themselves and still Mercedes Benz offers no remedy. It would appear that it's going to take a severe accident or fatality to bring some type of action on your part to replace this vehicle, which is definitely a LEMON!!
Here we go again, while driving on a side road with a 20 mph school speed limit, the cruise control wants to SPEED UP to 60 mph!! WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO REMEDY THIS BEFORE I’M INVOLVED IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT!!
Electrical
Reports naming the electrical system — wiring, battery, charging, control modules, infotainment and electrical accessories.

I leased my 2022 S 500, Mercedes Benz. on September 28, 2022 and after about a year, I have had issues with the large screen/radio and cruise control in the vehicle. All events are documented at the Rockville Centre, Long Island service center. I have made numerous complaints beginning in January of this year through emails and was assigned a case number with Mercedes Benz corporate which is 12240831. On numerous occasions, while using the cruise control set to 50 MPH, the vehicle will accelerate to 80 MPH on a highway with a 50 MPH speed limit. Then on other occasions, while using the cruise control, the vehicle will accelerate to 80 MPH on a highway with a 25 MPH speed limit. Then, at other times, while using the cruise control set to 50 MPH, on a highway which has a 50 MPH speed limit, the car will reduce to 10 MPH . All of these scenarios are VERY DANGEROUS as you can well imagine. On many other occasions, the screen map will become blurry & distorted causing confusion as to my whereabouts. **The time has come for a replacement/repurchase of this vehicle and, I believe, at this time, this vehicle should be considered for the "LEMON LAW" under all applicable State and Federal laws. I can send a separate email with all of the pictures of the screen and cruise control issues.

The same problem with the air conditioning occurred last week as the temperatures in New York City were about 55° and, frustrated again, I brought the vehicle in for the air conditioner and screen issues and they kept the vehicle for ten (10) days!!. **The time has come for a replacement/repurchase of this vehicle and, I believe, at this time, this vehicle should be considered for the "LEMON LAW" under all applicable State and Federal laws. Body & structure
Reports naming the vehicle structure, frame, body panels, doors, hood and trim.

We're on our fifth windshield, and I'm concerned that there is some sort of structural issue. We've lived in the same area for more than 10 years and have never had this problem with any of our other cars, SUVs, or trucks. Sometimes, it sounds like a piece of sand has hit the windshield, and BOOM...another cracked windshield, but it always cracks on the driver's side. This isn't normal. Also, settings don't save to our profiles, and the backup warning signal doesn't work dependably. We've had these things looked at several times by the dealership. They have no answers.
This is absolully manufacture design error, it might causing accident day and night to anyone who drive Mercedes Benz S-class what I see it, I had really nightmare in New York city when rainy night, because I can not see side mirror when I need see it, only I can get a refection on side mirror, especially rainy dark night in the city when street lights is reflected from air vent to side mirror and sun lights hit air vent and reflect to side mirror, this is great dangerous for anyone who has Mercedes Benz S-class, when reflection on to side mirror, PS: I could not put correct speed on your system, only I took picture when stop the car,

Tires & wheels
Reports naming tires, wheels, hubs, or the tire-pressure monitoring system.
From owner reports, verbatim
I have the 2022 S 500 with 21 inch mag spoke rims with Pirelli 255/35R21 tires on it which comes stock from Mercedes Benz. I have now been in almost 15 tires repair claims and 3 rim replacements because of how poorly Mercedes designed the rims then put a tire soon the car that cannot handle the weight of the car. I hit a pot hole and my whole tire blew out almost causing a severe crash. this is again the almost 15th time this has happened. I took the car to Mercedes Beverly Hills and the service advisors say that now there is $16,000 dollars in damages on the car fro the constant impact it has taken from the rims being poorly designed on the car. I have asked many times to replace the tire brand to a better and thicker tire. but Mercedes will not allow that and demands I pay over 16k in damages to fix suspensions and the drive unit issues.

New S500 Benz, 1700 miles on the car, 2 months on the road only. Issues started right off the batt after purchasing this new S500. Car refuses to start daily, check engine light, 12v battery light, 48v battery needs service light, come on even tho the cars voltage is not low and is driven daily on highway. Took to the dealer, dealer says car needed to be driven more even tho its driven daily. Dealer stated voltage of the 12v battery was low, they charged the battery manually and stated that the cars ECU recorded a voltage problem. They cleared the ECU and released the car after 1 week in the shop under warranty. Next day the car was driven after it came out the shop, the car again gave a check engine light, 12v battery light, 48v battery needs service warning message. After driving the car for a bit the car completely went haywire. All interior electrical went out. Center counsel not working, dash console showed over 30 warning lights and messages ranging from electrical to low brake fluids including check engine light, SRS inoperable message, and many many more messages telling me to stop driving the car. Car is scheduled to be taken back to the dealer for another checkup. This time car must be towed in since it refuses to even turn on or to unlock the doors or windows. This car seems to be having major electrical issues as well as major computer problems. This car is unsafe to drive since it can stall out while driving. At this point i will be contacting mercades benz corporate to speak to someone about these major issues. As it stands the dealership is unaware of how or why the car is acting this way and do not know how to fix it. A true lemon indeed. Please view pics attached

The factory upgrade 21 inch spoke wheels with Pirelli P-Zero low profile tires are averaging a blow out every 800 miles. 5 flats and 2 sidewall blisters in the last 10,000 miles. Pirelli P-Zero 255/35/R21 Front and 285/30/R21 Rear are all four available for inspection if you tell me to save them before I replace them. There have been thousands of complaints and law suits re this issue just in the last 5 years on mercedes cars with low profile tires; to Mercedes, Pirelli, through legal discovery, to enthusiasts forums, and to NHTSA My first blowout was at 30 mph hitting a 1 1/2" deep pothole full of rain water. That one blew out the front right and blistered the sideall of the right rear at once. Then one of the new replacements blew on hitting a storm drain set 1" into the pavement on the way home from the dealership. I've been driving 60 years, and never had a single pothole blowout before now. Sidewall tears release all or most of the air at once creating an extremely dangerous situation. Somebody will lose control and hurt or kill someone, or behurt while stopped in an unsafe spot. Since the car can't be towed and has no spare, it is exteremely costly and inconvenient to replace a tire. It has cost me thousands so far, and left my disabled wife and me stranded beside the highway. Car is on a flat and one and a blister on a second tire right now in driveway. Best fix is to go to a square wheel/tire fitment using 19" x 8.5" wheels with 35 offset 66.6 mm bore on all four, all season radials. To keep outside diamter the same for the computer, 255/45/R19 /AS/ XL W and with acoustic tuning or dampening to match the quiet factory tires on these cars. 20" wheels is no good, because to maintain diameter would require the same too short 35 sidewall profile on two of the tires. Staggered 19 inch wheels will work, but the square fitment allows for tire rotaion and for the carrying of a spare. Maybe make that optional for replacement recall.
