PREVIOUSLY REPORTED SEVERE RUST & ROT OF CHASSIS / FRAMES. THIS IS A 6 YR OLD TRUCK SHOWING ACCELERATED SIGNS OF RUST LARGE BLISTERS 6-8" IN DIA OF RUST ARE PUSHING OUT FROM BENEATH THE UNDERCOAT AND PAINT. IF THIS PROGRESSES AS IN MY OLDER TRUCKS THIS TRUCK WILL BE UNSAFE AND UNUSABLE IN 3-5 YEARS. PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE MANUFACTURER WITH NO RESPONSE! *JS

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 MITSUBISHI FUSO FE83D. THE CONTACT HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL PUMP AND THE FUEL INJECTED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY HAD TO USE A HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP BECAUSE OF THE CLEAN AIR REGULATIONS WHICH CAUSED THE FUEL LINES TO BREAK APART INTO THE ENGINE AND CAUSE IT TO FAIL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 157846 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 158300. UPDATED 9/1/10 *CN THE FUEL PUMP AND INJECTORS WERE REPLACED. UPDATED 09/14/10
