2004 Monaco Coach Executive Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE CONSUMER WAS TRYING TO DISSOLVE CAMPAIGN NUMBER #05E-015. THE CONSUMER HAS ALREADY BEEN THROUGH THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER TOLD THE CONSUMER TO CALL TRAILSIDE RV IN KANSAS CITY, MO. CALLED TRAILSIDE AND THEY TOLD THEM THE SITUATION. THE MANUFACTURER TOLD THE CONSUMER THAT THEY WEREN'T DOING RECALLS BUT THEIR OWN. THE DEALER THAT THE RV WAS BOUGHT FROM IS IN FLORIDA, AND THEY REFERRED THE CONSUMER TO MONACO TECH SERVICE. MONACO REFERENCE GAVE NO SATISFACTION TO THE CONSUMER. THE CONSUMER CALLED WEBASTO, THE MANUFACTURER OF THE DIESEL BURNER, WAS ADVISED THAT IF THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH UNIT, THEY SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS, BUT VEHICLE SYSTEMS INC. SENT OUT A RECALL. THIS IS A NEW UNIT, BUT VSI STATED THAT THEY WERE 100 BAD UNITS BUT COULDN'T TELL THE CONSUMER WHERE TO GO TO HAVE THIS CHECKED. THIS RV IS THE MONICOBR AND EXECUTIVE SERIES. *JB *SC
