2002 Monaco Coach Monaco Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

THE VEHICLE WANDERED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS DUE TO UNSTABLE STEERING. THE CONSUMER HAD THE FOLLOWING REPAIRS: SHOCK ABSORBERS WERE REPLACED, ADDED A SAFETY STEERING DEVICE, REPLACED ALL SIX TIRES(WHICH COULD NOT CARRY THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE), AND ADJUSTED THE HEIGHT(WHICH HELPED THE WANDERING). THE PROBLEM SEEMED TO IMPROVE, BUT THERE WAS STILL PLAY IN THE STEERING MECHANISM. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED TO BE REIMBURSED. MR SCC *NLM
