The defect: THE "LIMIT STOP PIN" CAN BACK OUT OF POSITION ALLOWING THE TELESCOPING STEERING COLUMN MECHANISM TO TRAVEL BEYOND SPECIFICATION.
The risk: THIS CAN AFFECT THE STEERING CONTROL OF THE VEHICLES, AND COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
The remedy: THE LOWER STEERING COLUMNS WILL BE REMOVED AND REPLACED ON ALL VEHICLES.
