TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2002 NEWMAR MOUNTAIN AIRE. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND FAILED TO RESPOND. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE FLIPPED TO THE SIDE AND ROLLED INTO AN EMBANKMENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A TOW YARD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. UPDATED 05/06/16*BF *CN

RIGHT AFTER PURCHASE OF VEHICLE CONSUMER NOTICED SHIMMYING AT 30-55 MPH. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO DEALER, FRAME HAD BEEN STRETCHED DURING MANUFACTURING OF VEHICLE, AND THERE WERE NO PROPER SHIMS IN DRIVESHAFT CARRIER BEARING. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN FOR REPAIR FOR 30 DAYS.*AK

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 NEWMAR MOUNTAIN AIRE FIFTH WHEEL. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR MODEL # RM386). HE REPLACED THE REFRIGERATOR HIMSELF. DOMETIC HAS DENIED REIMBURSING HIM BECAUSE THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS OR FOR CONFIRMATION THAT THE BOILER TUBE WAS DEFECTIVE AND THE UNIT NEEDED REPLACEMENT. *AK
