2007 Palomino Thoroughbred Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PALOMINO THOROUGHBRED BEING HAULED BY A 2004 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRAVEL TRAILER WAS STRUCTURALLY UNSOUND WITH WATER INTRUDING, WHICH CAUSED AN INTERNAL LEAK. THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK WAS NOT YET DETERMINED. THE DEALER THAT SOLD THE TRAVEL TRAILER (CAMPING WORLD OF KNOXVILLE, 4223 AIRPORT HWY, LOUISVILLE, TN 37777, (888) 418-1835) MADE NO MENTION OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TRADE IN THE TRAVEL TRAILER TO NORTHGATE RV CENTER, INC. (3332 WRIGHTS FERRY RD, LOUISVILLE, TN 37777) AND THEY INDICATED THAT THE CAMPER WAS SOILED INTERNALLY AND THAT IT WAS UNSAFE TO HAUL THE TRAVEL TRAILER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS WAITING TO DETERMINE IF THE DEALERS AND THE MANUFACTURER COULD PROVIDE A PERMANENT SOLUTION. THE TRAVEL TRAILER WAS UNABLE TO BE TRADED DUE TO THE FAILURE. THERE WAS NO MILEAGE FOR THE TRAVEL TRAILER.
