2007 Palomino Thoroughbred Problems
Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component
Data refreshed
What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2007 Palomino Thoroughbred, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PALOMINO THOROUGHBRED BEING HAULED BY A 2004 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRAVEL TRAILER WAS STRUCTURALLY UNSOUND WITH WATER INTRUDING, WHICH CAUSED AN INTERNAL LEAK. THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK WAS NOT YET DETERMINED. THE DEALER THAT SOLD THE TRAVEL TRAILER (CAMPING WORLD OF KNOXVILLE, 4223 AIRPORT HWY, LOUISVILLE, TN 37777, (888) 418-1835) MADE NO MENTION OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TRADE IN THE TRAVEL TRAILER TO NORTHGATE RV CENTER, INC. (3332 WRIGHTS FERRY RD, LOUISVILLE, TN 37777) AND THEY INDICATED THAT THE CAMPER WAS SOILED INTERNALLY AND THAT IT WAS UNSAFE TO HAUL THE TRAVEL TRAILER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS WAITING TO DETERMINE IF THE DEALERS AND THE MANUFACTURER COULD PROVIDE A PERMANENT SOLUTION. THE TRAVEL TRAILER WAS UNABLE TO BE TRADED DUE TO THE FAILURE. THERE WAS NO MILEAGE FOR THE TRAVEL TRAILER.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
