Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
Introduction of tri-crimp, Spiralock™ chassis/aerial hardware.
To improve the fitment and operational reliability of manual window cranks by installing a fabricated collar over the regulator splines, eliminating looseness and reducing effort when raising or lowering the window.
Single axle tillers can be retrofitted to have a 91° jackknife angle, an improvement from the previous jackknife angle of 88°. New tillers are configured with this change as per Sales Bulletin PSB1063.
IMMI, the creator and supplier for Rolltek and other Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) products, is implementing design changes due to obsolescence of select parts. Most recently, the AB8 Front Impact Protection (FIP) sensors are no longer available and cannot be ordered. If you believe there is an issue with the AB8 FIP sensor, please contact customer service for technical support. We now require all active and inactive diagnostic codes be included when starting a Technical Incident for an SRS issue. Having the codes at the start of the incident ticket process will provide efficient troubleshooting and increase the accuracy of the suggested corrective actions.
This bulletin provides a procedure by which to apply a software update to applicable Command Zone devices installed in Pierce custom chassis apparatus using a Single Packet Update (SPU) file loaded onto a USB stick. This procedure is applicable only to apparatus with a CL-714 series Display, with Telematics Control Unit software version 6.0.X or greater, and with a ‘Tech Module’ port installed.
This bulletin provides additional information regarding the Command Zone Telematics Control Unit (TCU), its functions, device locations in custom chassis apparatus, how ClearSky Intelligence subscribers can request the latest available TCU software version (7.4.2), and why TCU software should be updated.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
