WE OWN A 2003 CONDOR MOTORHOME MADE BY R-VISION. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE NEW. IN OCTOBER 2006 WE TRAVELED TO STRAWBERRY PARK IN CONNNECTICUT, FROM OUR HOME IN LONG ISLAND, NY. UPON ARRIVING AND CHECKING IN AT THE CHECK-IN BOOTH, MY HUSBAND PUT THE VEHICLE INTO PARK, WITH THE ENGINE STILL RUNNING. AFTER CHECKING IN, HE PUT THE VEHICLE INTO DRIVE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO FORWARD NOR REVERSE. A MECHANIC AT THE CAMPGROUND WAS CALLED IN TO ASSIST, UPON READING THE VEHICLE'S OWNER'S MANUAL HE THEN REMOVED THE COTTER PIN TO DISENGAGE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE MOTORHOME THEN WAS DRIVABLE AT THAT POINT, HOWEVER, WE WERE WITHOUT THE EMERGENCY PARKING BRAKE WHICH IS NECESSARY WHEN PARKING A VEHICLE OF THIS SIZE (35' AND 18,000 POUNDS). UPON OUR RETURN HOME FROM CONNECTICUT, WE DROPPED THE MOTORHOME OFF AT WORKHORSE AUTHORIZED TRUCK REPAIR SHOP. THEIR INVESTIGATION SHOWED THE PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR REQUIRED REPLACEMENT. THE PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR (PART ALONE) WILL COST $1,647.00.....LABOR IS ADDITIONAL. THE PART IS ON ORDER FROM WORKHORSE. OUR MOTORHOME IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD AND HAS 9,349 MILES ON IT!! WE USE IT SPARINGLY FROM MAY TO OCTOBER, AS WE ARE NOT RETIRED PERSONS. *JB

Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
