The defect

ON CERTAIN TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH THE SEALCO 508 RUBBER BAND CHECK VALVE THAT IS USED ON THE 110502 BRASS CONTROL PORT CAP ASSEMBLY WHICH IS INSTALLED IN THE CONTROL PORT OF SEALCO'S 11050, 110700 AND 110800 SPRING BRAKE CONTROL VALVES MAY DEVELOP A HOLE.

The risk

THIS CAN ALLOW ALLOWING SUPPLY AIR TO ESCAPE BACK OUT THE CONTROL LINE EXHAUSTING AT EITHER THE FOOT VALVE IN THE TRACTOR OR ANY TRACTOR IN-LINE QUICK RELEASE VALVE.

The remedy

SEALCO WILL PROVIDE A SERVICE BULLETIN AND THE 110502 REPLACEMENT CAP ASSEMBLIES TO CUSTOMERS FREE OF CHARGE. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT SEALCO AT 1-602-253-1007 OR EAST MANUFACTURING AT 1-330-325-9921.
