The defect
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES, THE CABINET CONTAINING THE TELEVISION SET THAT IS INSTALLED IN THE OVERHEAD COCKPIT MAY BE INADEQUATELY SECURED.
The risk
SHOULD THE CABINET FASTENERS FAIL, THE OVERHEAD TELEVISION CABINET AND TELEVISION SET MAY FALL AND COULD CONTACT THE WINDSHIELD, DRIVER, OR PASSENGER INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH OR PERSONAL INJURY.
The remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE CABINETS AND MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JULY 24, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT COACHMEN AT 1-574-825-5821.
