The defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2015 Glaval Bus Apollo, Concorde, Entourage, and Legacy, and Elkhart Coach ECE4, 2014-2016 AllStar XL, and 2014-2015 Forest River Rockport, Starcraft Starquest, AllStar, Starlite, AllStar MVP, XLT, and Xpress vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with a back up camera system which may display images from the camera in reverse.

The risk

If an object or person are on the left side of the screen but are actually on the right side of the vehicle, or vice versa, there is an increased risk of a crash.

The remedy

Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the camera, free of charge. The recall began on August 25, 2015. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-264-5179. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-06232015-0057.
