The defect
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Rockport work trucks. The trailer brake controller may have been incorrectly wired.
The risk
An incorrectly wired brake controller can result in a loss of brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will rewire the trailer brake controller, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 24, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-327-2392. Forest River's number for this recall is 29-1639.
