What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER, 2020-2023 T-Series Tandem Terminal Truck, and 2024-2026 HUSK-e Tandem Terminal vehicles. Improper welding may cause frame rails to crack, leading to rail separation.

The risk

A detached rail can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of injury.

The remedy

Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the frame rails as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 22, 2026. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. Orange EV's number for this recall is 2026-SRC-02.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
