The defect
PARK BRAKE ACUATOR LEVER COULD FAIL AND BRAKE WOULD NOT ENGAGE WHEN THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER IS PUT IN THE "P" PARK POSITION.
The risk
VEHICLE COULD MOVE AFTER IT IS PARKED, CREATING POTENTIALFOR A CRASH AND INJURY.
The remedy
REPLACE PARK BRAKE ACTUATOR LEVER WITH LEVER OF HEAVIER DUTY DESIGN.
