The defect
SAFETY BELT ANCHORAGES DID NOT MEET LOAD REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS 222.
The risk
BUSES WOULD NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS 222; PASSENGERS IN THE AFFECTED REAR AREAS OF THE SCHOOL BUS MIGHT NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY RESTRAINED IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN IMPACT OR ACCIDENT, WHICH MIGHT RESULT IN MORE EXTENSIVE INJURY.
The remedy
ADD A .25 INCH TO 1.5 INCH STRAP TO TWO REARMOST SEATS.
