The defect
THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR MAY FAIL WHEN LEFT ON DURING PERIODS WHEN THE WINDSHIELD HAS DRIED AND FRICTION ON THE WIPER BLADES INCREASES.

WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM FAILURE CAUSES REDUCED DRIVER VISIBILITY IN INCLEMENT WEATHER AND COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT. CORRECTIVE ACTION: REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY WITH AN IMPROVED ASSEMBLY.
