The defect: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON DODGE VAN CHASSIS AND EQUIPPED WITH SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES PRODUCED BY AM-SAFE BETWEEN JANUARY 28 AND AUGUST 15, 2000. ON SOME SEAT BELTS, THE BUCKLE AND CONNECTOR MAY UNLATCH DURING A COLLISION.
The risk: SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH COULD OCCUR IF THE VEHICLE OCCUPANT IS NOT PROPERLY RESTRAINED.
The remedy: DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE SEAT BELTS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN AUGUST 31, 2000. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT AM-SAFE COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AT 219-266-8330 OR SMC AT 1-800-344-6332.

The defect: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CERTAIN CLASS A MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH SAFETY BELT ASSEMBLIES BUILT BY AM-SAFE. ON SOME SEAT BELTS, THE BUCKLE AND CONNECTOR MAY UNLATCH DURING A COLLISION.
The risk: SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH COULD OCCUR IF THE VEHICLE OCCUPANT IS NOT PROPERLY RESTRAINED.
The remedy: DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE SEAT BELTS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN OCTOBER 18, 20000. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT SMC CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-344-6332 OR AM-SAFE AT 1-219-266-8330.

IN 12-04 WE HAD TO HAVE A COMPLETE BRAKE REPAIR DONE ON OUR MOTORHOME. THE BOSCH ABS BRAKES HAD NOT BEEN RECALLED AT THIS TIME. WE HAD THE BRAKES CHECKED AGAIN AFTER THE RECALL AND WERE TOLD THEY WERE FINE BY MONACO. IN JULY 2005 WE HAD ANOTHER INCIDENT WHERE THE BRAKES ONCE AGAIN OVERHEATED AND WE HAD TO HAVE A COMPLETE BRAKE REPAIR DONE ONCE AGAIN. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THE SAME WHEEL, DRIVER SIDE FRONT WHEEL EACH TIME. WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL INCIDENTS WITH THE ABS LIGHT ON THE DASH PANEL COMING ON AND HAVE HAD THE SENSOR REPLACED ALSO. WE ONLY HAD 5000 MILES ON THE COACH BETWEEN THE BRAKES FAILING. *NM
