TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 SKYLINE ALJO. THE VEHICLE HAS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM2652. THE CONTACT NOTICED A YELLOWISH RESIDUE SURROUNDING HIS EQUIPMENT AS WELL AS AN AMMONIA LEAK. HE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08E032000 (EQUIPMENT) AND IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE MANUFACTURER. UPDATED 2/20/09 *CN THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD ONLY ADDITIONAL MATERIALS WOULD BE INSTALLED TO LESSEN THE DAMAGE IF A FIRE OCCURRED. THE CONSUMER EXPERIENCED 2 REFRIGERATORS FAILURES. THE FIRST FAILURE WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE SECOND FAILURE, THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE REFRIGERATOR COULD NOT BE REPAIRED AND THE ONLY OPTION WAS A REPLACEMENT. UPDATED 02/23/09. *JB

Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
