The defect: Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2026-2027 MODE and 2026 GXV HILTS vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
The risk: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Storyteller will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 30, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.

The defect: Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt vehicles. The secondary alternator pulley may fail, resulting in a loss of power brakes and power steering.
The risk: An unexpected loss of power brakes increases the distance required to stop. A loss of power steering increases the amount of effort needed to control the vehicle. Both situations may increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Storyteller will replace the secondary alternator, free of charge. Interim owner letters were mailed August 13, 2026. A second letter will be mailed when the free remedy is available. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.

The defect: Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly.
The risk: Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will install a ground signal to the door switch circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 29, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
